Who you are dealing with
Goldfinger is published by Opuss & Co Ltd, company number 16808564, 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. Using the app means accepting these terms.
What the app is
Goldfinger is an iOS app for recording physical precious-metal holdings and estimating what they are worth. It is a record-keeping and information tool.
Not financial advice
Nothing in the app is financial, investment or tax advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Prices shown are indicative and are for information only. Decisions you make about your holdings are yours alone.
Accuracy of prices
Live and historical prices come from third-party market-data providers. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and they will not match the price any particular dealer offers you. We do not warrant that prices are accurate, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of them.
No account, and your data
There is no account and no sign-in. Your holdings are stored on your device and are not sent to us. That also means we cannot recover them: if you lose the device or delete the app, the data is gone. Keeping your own export is your responsibility. See the Privacy Policy.
Goldfinger Pro
Goldfinger Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks live prices, history and charts, and CSV import and export.
Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. After the trial it is £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year. Prices in other regions are set by Apple and are shown in the app before you buy.
The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged.
Purchases are made through Apple, not through us. Apple takes payment and handles refunds under its own terms.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app or the price service, and do not resell or redistribute the price data.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from the value of metals or from any decision taken using the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may change as the app changes. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
